The Waffle Long Sleeve is built around one of the simplest principles in clothing: using the structure of the fabric to do the work.
Unlike a standard flat jersey, waffle is knitted with a three-dimensional surface that creates small pockets of air within the fabric. These pockets help retain warmth, while the open construction still allows the fabric to breathe.
The result is a long sleeve that feels substantial without being heavy — warm enough to wear on its own as the temperature drops, but breathable enough to sit comfortably underneath a jacket.
The texture also gives the fabric its character. Rather than a completely flat, uniform surface, the raised waffle construction creates natural depth that becomes more pronounced with wear and washing.
For the black, we've taken that a step further by garment dyeing the finished piece rather than using fabric dyed before production. The dye reacts differently across the garment, creating subtle highs and lows around the seams and construction points. No two pieces will age in exactly the same way.
The garment has also been pre-shrunk to minimise further shrinkage at home.
A simple long sleeve, made interesting by the fabric, the construction and the way it will develop over time.
