Description

We think a hoodie should feel better the longer you live in it.

Made from 520gsm, 100% organic combed cotton, the Heritage Hoodie has a substantial weight you’ll notice straight away. The vertical loopback fabric has a dense, tightly knitted face, with the cotton softening wash after wash.

Raglan sleeves give it an easy fit through the shoulders, while a front kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs and hem keep the details simple and functional.

Each hoodie is pre-shrunk with a 60°C wash and tumble dry to reduce shrinkage before it reaches you. Getting the fit right means thinking beyond the first wear.

We’ve spent a year sampling, testing and making small adjustments. A lot of work for something you should be able to put on without a second thought.

Cut and sewn by our team, in our own factory in Leicester, England

Model: Male - Height 6'1, wearing medium (chest 37").

Fabric & Softening Process

We don't treat our fabric with the chemical softeners most brands use to make a shirt feel premium on day one. That coating washes out fast, and what's underneath is usually thinner than you'd like. Ours starts firm and raw on purpose. By the third or fourth wash, it's softer than most shirts ever get — and it stays that way, because there was nothing artificial to wash off in the first place.

Materials & Care

• 100% organic cotton
• 520gsm ring-spun combed jersey
• Reactive dyed
• Pre-shrunk
• No chemical softening Machine wash cold, similar colours. Hang to dry — no tumble drying, no chemical shortcuts in the wash any more than there were in the making.

How to Measure Your Hoodie

  1. Chest: Place the tape measure under your arms at the fullest part across your chest, just below the armpits. Keep the tape flat and level across the back and front for an accurate measurement, as shown in the diagram.

  2. Sleeve: Start at the shoulder seam, measure along the top of the sleeve and down to the end of the cuff.

  3. Length: Place the tape at the highest point of the shoulder (near the neckline) and measure straight down to the hem of the hoodie.

Our Story

We didn't start as a fashion brand.

CWT began during COVID, when we kept our factory's machines running for a world that had stopped ordering.

What started as a way to protect the jobs of the people who'd worked here for decades became something bigger — clothes made exactly how we'd always made them for other brands, just without their name on the label, or their markup on the price.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it shrink?

Pre-shrunk before it reaches you — expect minimal movement after that.

How do I know my size?

Try our Fit Finder — 30 seconds, tells you exactly what to order. Or check the model reference in the gallery above.

What if it doesn't fit?
  • Items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
  • Returns made within 31 - 45 days will be issued as store credit or exchange only.
Where is it made?

Most of our products are proudly made in Leicester, UK. Our Essentials Collection is currently made in Istanbul, where some of the world's best garment dyeing specialists are based.

Why doesn't it feel super soft straight out of the bag?

Because we don't treat it with chemicals to fake that. Give it a wash — it starts softening immediately and keeps improving from there.
